This website is operated by GS India Defence Academy, Street 1, Subharti Road, Nanda Ki Chowki, Lower Kolhupani, Dehradun, Uttarakhand 248007. It explains our courses, fees, hostel and admissions, and gives guides and tools to help students and parents understand the entries into the armed forces. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “the academy” mean GS India Defence Academy, and “you” means anyone who uses the website.
The website is for information. Nothing on it is an offer that you can accept by clicking. Admission to a course is a separate step, completed with the academy, and it is governed by the admission details and receipts you are given when you join.
Information on the website
We take care to keep the website accurate and current, but we cannot promise that every detail is complete or up to date. Please keep these points in mind:
- Fees are indicative. Fees shown on the website are for the session stated. The exact fee, GST and instalment options are confirmed at counselling and shown on your receipt.
- Official notifications come first. Exam dates, age limits, eligibility, syllabus and selection procedures are set by the bodies that conduct each entry, such as the Union Public Service Commission, the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force and the National Testing Agency. Where our pages and an official notification differ, the official notification is correct.
- Guides are general. Our guides explain how entries work. They are not legal, medical or career advice for an individual.
- Dates change. Exam calendars and notification dates can change at short notice. Check the official site before you act.
Tools and calculators
The eligibility checker, the SSB practice tools and the fee estimator are there to give you a quick, first answer. Their results are indicative only. The eligibility checker cannot take account of every rule that applies to an individual, and the fee estimator uses indicative figures. Always confirm eligibility with the official notification and confirm fees with a counsellor before you decide.
Enquiries and communications
When you submit a form on the website, you ask us to contact you about your enquiry by call or WhatsApp. By doing so you confirm that:
- the information you gave us is accurate;
- the mobile number belongs to you or to a parent or guardian who agrees to be contacted;
- if the student is under 18, a parent or guardian has agreed to the enquiry.
We use your details as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading or abusive information, or someone else’s details without their permission;
- send automated or repeated submissions, or try to overload or disrupt the website;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its administration area or its data;
- copy the website’s content in bulk, for example by scraping, except as the law permits;
- use the website to send spam or to promote another business.
We may block access to anyone who breaks these rules, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
Content and images
The text, layout, graphics and photographs on this website belong to the academy or are used with permission, unless a credit says otherwise. Credits for images are listed on the Image Credits page. You may read the website and share a link to it. You may not copy, republish or sell its content, or use the academy’s name, logo or photographs, without our written permission.
Names of the armed forces and exams
We use the names of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force, the National Defence Academy, the Indian Military Academy, examinations and similar bodies only to describe what our courses prepare students for. GS India Defence Academy is a private coaching academy. It is not part of, and is not endorsed by, any armed force, examination body or government organisation.
Results and outcomes
Selection into the armed forces depends on the candidate, the examination and the selection board. We do not promise any student a particular result, rank or selection. When we publish results, we follow the rules on our Results page: only with consent, and with a link to the official source.
Fees, payment and refunds
Course fees, hostel and mess charges, registration and the refundable hostel security are explained on the Fee Structure page. Please ask for the fee break-up, GST and instalment dates in writing before you pay. Payment and refund terms that apply to your admission are given to you at the time of admission.
Links to other websites
The website may link to other sites, such as official examination portals, map services and videos. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Availability of the website
We try to keep the website available, but we cannot promise that it will always work without interruption or error. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it without notice.
Our responsibility to you
We provide the website and its information as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from relying on the website, for example a missed exam date, a wrong eligibility decision or an interruption in the service. Students under 18
The website is meant for use by parents, guardians and students. If you are under 18, please use the enquiry forms with a parent or guardian’s knowledge and consent. Admission of a student under 18 is completed with a parent or guardian.
Reviews, feedback and messages
If you send us a message, a review or a testimonial, you confirm that it is truthful and yours to give. We show a review on the website only when it is genuine, we do not write reviews on anyone’s behalf, and we may remove content that is abusive, unlawful or misleading.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It forms part of these terms.
