RIMC sells one official booklet of its previous seven years’ question papers for ₹300, sent by post, and publishes written results as PDFs on its homepage. It does not publish a cut-off list. What decides a viva call is a pass of at least 50 per cent in each subject, followed by a merit ranking that is built state by state for boys and zone by zone for girls.
This page is a plain guide to what exists, where it sits and how to read it. Everything was checked on rimc.edu.in and in the NTA’s RIMCEE-2026 information bulletin on 12 October 2026. We do not list guessed “expected cut-offs” or topper names, because no official source supports them.
Where can I get RIMC previous year question papers?
The only source RIMC itself points to is its booklet of Previous 7 Years Question Papers. RIMC’s admission and prospectus pages give the price as ₹300. You pay by the QR code shown in RIMC’s official notice, then share the payment receipt and your postal address with the college through the WhatsApp number or email address printed on the admission page, and the booklet is dispatched by post.
The booklet is separate from the application. From the December 2026 cycle, the application form is online through the NTA only, and RIMC and State Governments no longer issue forms. Earlier, RIMC’s notification for the June 2026 exam offered a prospectus-cum-application form together with the old papers for ₹600, or ₹555 for SC and ST candidates. If you find that price quoted on an older page, it describes the old process.
Free PDFs and “memory-based” papers on coaching sites and social media are unofficial. The bulletin warns candidates and parents about touts, fake websites and anyone who claims to arrange selection, and it says neither the NTA nor RIMC has authorised any agent. Treat unofficial papers as practice material and not as the real thing.
How should I use old papers in preparation?
Use them as timed rehearsals. The three written papers have fixed durations: English two hours, General Knowledge one hour and Mathematics one hour thirty minutes, for 400 marks in all. In June 2026, RIMC’s schedule placed Mathematics at 9:30 to 11:00, General Knowledge at 12:00 to 13:00 and English at 14:30 to 16:30. The December 2026 timings will appear on the admit card.
- Attempt each paper under exam conditions, with no calculator and no notes, which the bulletin bars from the hall.
- Write full working in Mathematics, since it is a descriptive paper of 200 marks and 30 questions.
- Have English compositions and letters marked by a teacher and not by the answer key.
- Compare each paper’s format against the current bulletin before treating its marks and timings as a guide.
- Track marks subject by subject, not only the total, because the pass rule works per subject.

Where are RIMC results published?
RIMC’s homepage has a “Latest Results” section with PDF links. For each exam it carries four files: a state-wise written result for boys, one for girls, and a summary for each. From the December 2026 cycle the NTA also declares the Stage I result on its own portal, where each candidate can download a score card by logging in. RIMC hosts the result on its website at the same time.
| Exam cycle | Term | Result posted | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| December 2025 exam | July 2026 | 26 February 2026 | RIMC homepage, written result PDFs |
| June 2026 exam, held 7 June 2026 | January 2027 | 19 August 2026 | RIMC homepage, written result PDFs |
| December 2026 exam, 6 December 2026 | July 2027 | By 20 February 2027, according to the NTA bulletin | NTA portal login, and the RIMC website |
Searches for the RIMC result in 2026 or 2027 should therefore end at rimc.edu.in or exams.nta.nic.in, and nowhere else. The result is a list, and a call letter or a state government message follows for the viva.
What do the RIMC result PDFs show?
The full state-wise PDF for June 2026 runs to 42 pages for boys. For each State it lists candidates by roll number and name with marks in Mathematics, English and General Knowledge and a total, and it marks in bold the names of those who passed every subject. A note states that the viva voce of qualified candidates will be conducted in their State, and that the State government will tell them the time and place. The summary PDFs give a shorter list of names. Neither file is a ranked all-India list.
What are the RIMC qualifying marks?
The rule is 50 per cent of the marks in each subject, and the bulletin repeats it for every paper. RIMC’s own June 2026 result document prints the pass marks it used.
| Subject | Maximum marks | Pass mark (50%) |
|---|---|---|
| Mathematics | 200 | 100 |
| English | 125 | 62.5 |
| General Knowledge | 75 | 37.5 (printed as 38) |
Clearing these floors earns a place in the viva voce pool and nothing more. The viva voce carries 50 marks and also needs 50 per cent, which is 25 marks. RIMC’s June 2026 notification shows a combined total of 450 marks with the viva voce included.
Is there an official RIMC cut-off or topper list?
No. The bulletin says merit for boys is prepared separately for each State or Union Territory, and seats are allotted against the vacancies pre-allocated to that State. For girls, one all-India merit list is prepared and seats are allotted across five zones. Because candidates compete inside their own State or zone, no single national cut-off exists. Any “RIMC expected cut-off” table is a guess, and we do not publish names of candidates from the result PDFs.
What happens after the written result?
Candidates who qualify are called for the viva voce, run with State governments and tentatively set for April 2027 in the December 2026 cycle. Those who pass it appear on the state-wise and all-India merit lists and are then called for a medical examination at a military hospital. RIMC sends joining instructions to the email address in the application, and the bulletin says no candidate should consider herself or himself selected until joining instructions and call-up notices arrive. The stages are explained in RIMC viva voce and medical test, and eligibility in RIMC eligibility and age limit.
